This week Adaptive Path released the first of four concept videos for Aurora, a next-generation browser experience, as part of the Mozilla Labs Concept Series.

Jesse James Garrett and Dan Harrelson of Adaptive Path have been blogging about the creation of Aurora and really giving great insight into the design process. Their posts are definitely worth a read.
Is it just me, or does that interface look like it would be awful to actually use? Concepts are great, but all those tiny buttons and X number of gestures... I got tired just them 'use' it

What's interesting to me is the fact that it's seemlingly so complex and, in a way, messy. All the elements surrounding the viewport (if I can still call it that) and all the files viewed in that 3D space... it's like they're saying, "Just it's the future doesn't mean it gets simpler and more streamlined."
